Is Polygamy A Mormon/ Islamic Heresy?
Some dismiss polygamy as sinful simply because it has been and to a certain extent still is advocated by some Mormons and Muslims. I'm sure there are many horror stories that can be told of polygamist wives in those religions that were mistreated. I also understand that mainstream Christianity is at odds with these religions on many points. Nevertheless, both of these religions use polygamists like Abraham to support their positions. Furthermore, whether or not people from other religions advocate something cannot be the sole basis for determining whether or not something is right or wrong.
